Essential Amino Acids (EAA Complex)
Muscle building & fitnessFunction & benefits
The nine amino acids the body cannot make and must get from food; they provide the complete building blocks for muscle protein synthesis and outperform BCAA alone because they supply every amino acid needed to complete it.
Dosage & how to use
| Recommended dose | 10–15 g dissolved in water |
| Best time to take | During or after training, or between meals |
| Frequency | 1–2 times daily |
Best forms to choose
Fast-absorbing free-form EAA powder, sugar-free and leucine-enriched.
Important warnings
Not needed if you eat plenty of complete protein such as chicken, eggs and whey
People with advanced kidney or liver failure should adjust the dose with their doctor
Drug interactions
Safe with most medicines; take them two hours apart from levodopa in Parkinson's disease, because amino acids compete with it for absorption.
